Founded in 2001, Plus by Design has grown into a trusted retailer of high-quality plus size clothing for women seeking dependable fit and timeless style. We offer an extensive collection of Vikki Vi Classics and complementary brands in sizes 0X–4X, focusing on pieces that feel good, travel well, and flatter every shape. With deep roots in the plus-size community, we’re committed to helping women build wardrobes they love—comfortable, polished, and made to last.Vikki Vi Classics include timeless styles that are versatile enough to wear to the office, the park, or special occasions. Our long-lasting finely ribbed stretch knit material means that our pieces have a very low Cost Per Wear.

The Fabric

Our clothing drapes beautifully, skimming your curves without smothering them in excess fabric. Our signature Classic fabric (14 ounce traditional knit blend of 94% acetate and 6% spandex) feels silky soft but it's remarkably durable. Customers tell us that they've been wearing the same exact pieces for decades. Our jersey knit classics are buttery soft and light as air. Of course, both fabrics are machine washable.

Meet the Team

Danielle is our CEO and has been selling Vikki Vi Classics for 30 years. She discovered the line while working at Nordstrom, and went on to found Plus By Design to make Vikki Vi available online.

 

Leslie handles customer service, logistics and buying.

 

 

Allegra is our photographer/model and has been with us for over 15 years.

 

 

There are also Leslie and Danielle that operate the warehouse and make sure your packages are shipped correctly!  

Melanie Cristescu lovingly and beautifully does the make-up for our photo shoots.

Roger handles the manufacturing in New York City.

Jen is our fabulous blogger.
