Vikki Vi Clothing has a relaxed, drapey fit, so you may need to order a smaller size than usual. The size chart shows the measurements of the garments laid flat.  There is considerable stretch in both the Classic and Jersey fabrics.

Remember that not every style is designed with your body shape in mind. For example if you're pear-shaped, a dress with straight sides will either be too tight across your hips or too loose across the bust. In that case, A-Line shaped styles will fit your more comfortably.

How to Measure Your Body

Relax and remind yourself that your measurements are neutral bits of information. We know that this can be an emotional experience, but it doesn't have to be. You're just gathering data.

Waist - Let's start with this one because it's easiest. Wrap the measuring tape around your waist and come on, baby do the twist. That twisting motion moves the measuring tape to your natural waist.

Bust - Wiggle the measuring tape up so that the back is a few inches above your bra band. You want to measure the largest part of your bust and since you want the measuring tape to be parallel to the floor, wiggle it around until it is.

Hips - You need to measure the biggest part of your hips - the hard part is figuring out where that is. Every booty is unique, so you may need to measure several spots to find the biggest one. It's probably lower down than you expect.

Inseam - You may find it easiest to measure a favorite pair of pants to find your inseam measurement. Lay the pants on a flat surface and measure from the crotch to the ankle.

    Blue pants made me slightly blue

    In the past through the years, I purchased several pairs of black Vicki Vi pants. Loved the weight and material. Great quality albeit a bit overpriced. This new pair of pants is a different, less sustainable material but the same price. I would think Vicki Vi has shaved its quality for a larger profit. Sorry to see that!

    These pants are made with our Jersey knit fabric which is much lighter (and less expensive) than the classic fabric you're thinking of. We've actually cut our profit margins lately. We'll look into the bleeding dye - the jersey is usually as colorfast as the classic.

    ALMOST Lasts Forever

    One great thing about Vicki Vi is that the clothing wears so well and looks great for years. HOWEVER, I can assure you that it did not stand up to the new cat jumping on me with claws extended and then hanging on for dear life. So I had to replace my previous one with this one. Cat owners beware!

    Poor Quality

    I have a number of Vikki Vi items but haven't bought any in a couple of years. I recently bought a pair of navy pull-on pants. I was very disappointed in the quality. The fabric was very different then past pants, not lush or slinky. I would not have bought them I had I known the quality had changed so dramatically.
