Quick & Fabulous Plus Size Outfits

Yes, it is actually possible to throw together a plus size outfit you love in just a few minutes. It doesn’t even require advance preparation beyond already owning the right pieces. I mean, they also need to be clean, so your results may vary on laundry day. But you get my point.
This past Saturday, I was sitting on the couch in my PJs when a message popped up on my phone. “I’m leaving now and I’ll be there in about 20 minutes.” I actually took the time to type out “eek!” I knew I was meeting friends for lunch and board games that afternoon, and that I’d be getting a ride from K, but I had no idea how it was noon already. Yet, 15 minutes later, I was showered, dressed, and heading out to wait for my friend’s arrival.
So how did I manage it?
To be fair, it helped that the shower was already hot. But I hadn’t planned an outfit yet despite thinking about what to wear all week. Pants and a top of some kind had seemed like a good idea. But now, I had no time for separates from different brands. (Or even from the same brand - most designers don’t create their collections to mix and match.) The whole how-does-this-look-with-that routine would take too long.
Vikki Vi to the rescue.
I grabbed a print t-shirt style dress and a necklace and voila! I even had time to put on a little makeup. If it had been a little cooler out, I might have worn Slim Leg Pants with a shell and duster. Because of Vikki Vi’s secret power.

Be Prepared For All Fashion Emergencies
Anything out of our ordinary routine can lead to a wardrobe crisis. Special occasions like weddings, fancy parties, and school reunions aren’t everyday occurrences so we have to put some thought into what to wear. But not every out-of-the-ordinary event is fancy. Eating out, visiting museums, even game nights may call for outfits you don’t usually wear.
Too often that means trying a bunch of things on, tiring yourself out, and wondering how your entire wardrobe ended up thrown on the bed. It was actually fun doing that in my teens, but by my 20s I was over it all.
But since I have a closet full of Vikki Vi classics, I don’t have to bother.
