Plus Size Staples Every Wardrobe Needs
Every plus size wardrobe needs a few basic pieces to tie everything together. Think of them like pantry staples. I'm not going to insist that you need a specific type of flour in your kitchen. But it’s a good idea to have some sort of flour around for when recipes call for it.
So I’m not going to make grand pronouncements that every woman needs a belted trench coat. Maybe you don’t get much rain where you live. Or maybe you deal with such heavy rains that a trench isn’t enough.
But there are some staples that your plus size wardrobe needs.
A Fabulous Pair Of Pants
I’m talking about pants that you know look good on you, fit well, go with most of your tops, and are well made enough to survive lots of wearing. For most women, that means black pants. It’s the most popular neutral for a reason. But navy, gray or brown pants may be the better choice for you, depending on the other colors you tend to wear.
