It should be a lot easier to find the perfect short sleeve tee.

You need a solid, basic top that goes with everything from wild prints to basic black. But start shopping and it can feel like you're asking for the impossible. Everything's too short, too clingy, too see through, or covered in a design that makes the whole thing too casual.

We made the tee you've been looking for.

The round neckline isn't too low or too high. The sleeves aren't too short, or too long. The tunic length is long enough to keep our middles covered no matter what our day brings, while side slits make room for our hips.

"I love Vikki Vi classic tunics! They are easy care; no dry cleaning required. They look equally great with black dress slacks and everyday jeans. " – satisfied customer Marlena

  • Short sleeve, round neckline top
  • 30" from shoulder to hem – tunic length
  • Finely ribbed stretch knit - 94% Acetate/6% Spandex
  • Machine wash, lay flat to dry
  • Great for travel – just hang it up and any wrinkles fall out.
  • Made in the USA

This isn’t just any short sleeve tee.

The finely ribbed stretch knit fabric hangs from high quality shoulder pads, skimming over your curves without clinging.

You can rely on this top to hold onto its good looks.

Our signature fabric feels silky soft, yet holds up to lots of wear. Machine wash it over and over, and you still won't see any sagging or pilling.

What can we say? It's a tee shirt. Only better.

    Size Chart

Vikki Vi Clothing has a relaxed, drapey fit, so you may need to order a smaller size than usual. The size chart shows the measurements of the unstretched garments. The size that's 1" - 2" larger than your body's measurements will give you the perfect amount of ease.

Remember that not every style is designed with your body shape in mind. For example if you're pear-shaped, a dress with straight sides will either be too tight across your hips or too loose across the bust. In that case, A-Line shaped styles will fit your more comfortably.

If you're unsure which size to order, please contact us and we can advise you. Brands that aren't Vikki Vi follow a different size chart (available on the product page), and we're happy to pop into the warehouse and measure a garment for you if necessary.

    How to Measure Your Body

Relax and remind yourself that your measurements are neutral bits of information. We know that this can be an emotional experience, but it doesn't have to be. You're just gathering data.

Waist - Let's start with this one because it's easiest. Wrap the measuring tape around your waist and come on, baby do the twist. That twisting motion moves the measuring tape to your natural waist.

Bust - Wiggle the measuring tape up so that the back is a few inches above your bra band. You want to measure the largest part of your bust and since you want the measuring tape to be parallel to the floor, wiggle it around until it is.

Hips - You need to measure the biggest part of your hips - the hard part is figuring out where that is. Every booty is unique, so you may need to measure several spots to find the biggest one. It's probably lower down than you expect.

Inseam - You may find it easiest to measure a favorite pair of pants to find your inseam measurement. Lay the pants on a flat surface and measure from the crotch to the ankle.

    Fabric/Care

Vikki Vi Black Classics are made in the USA from the highest quality acetate/spandex fabric available. Weighing nearly 1 pound per yard, our classic fabric drapes beautifully and lasts a lifetime. Our black fabric is made from a yarn-dye process which ensures your blacks match from season to season.

Machine wash these beautiful styles in cold water. You can tumble with no heat to rid the garments of excess water if desired and then lay flat to dry completely. Acetate/lycra fabric will tend to stretch over time, take care in hanging or store folded.

Love love love the short sleeve jersey tunic. Wish Vicki made it in all colors. Love her new cinnabar but it doesn’t come in the short sleeve. This short is the best fitting shirt I have every owned. I have every color that she has made.

    My go to top

I wear this short sleeve black top on a regular basis. It is the most flattering top I have found, and it looks great alone or paired with jackets or kimono-like tops.

Thanks for writing a review. Enjoy!!
